HPTG News

Here you can find the latest news regarding HPTG and its courses, all of which are validated by the Faculty of Homeopathy, and are widely recognised, both nationally and internationally.

The original 3-year Oxford course, which took registered health professionals from an introduction to homeopathy through to readiness for full membership of the Faculty of Homeopathy, has now been completely redesigned to offer maximum flexibility and choice together with the highest professional standards of teaching in excellent venues.

We have also initiated a regional Introductory Day for Veterinary Nurses and Support Staff which consists of interactive lectures explaining the origins and development of homeopathy, its use in veterinary medicine today and the role of the veterinary nurse in the provision of homeopathy within a practice. The day also includes First Aid prescribing and details of remedies for First Aid and surgical situations.

And if you want to know how and why the HPTG Partnership became so passionate about homeopathy then read their book Passionate Medicine - Making the transition from conventional medicine to homeopathy

Passionate Medicine is a compelling record of the journeys of five doctors and two veterinary surgeons from conventional medicine to homeopathy.

In search of truth and healing in their profession, the contributors challenge the shortcomings of conventional medical training and methods, in particular the notion that effective clinicians should be objective and emotionally detached. Their insightful autobiographical stories clearly demonstrate the cost of the ‘dehumanising’ principle to the medical profession and argue for a more holistic, caring model that regards self-knowledge, passion and the ability to create successful practitioner–patient relationships as central to the healing process.

The contributors make a convincing case for the inherent ability of people to heal themselves and for the changing role of the clinician from expert to facilitator. This book is a thoughtful and illuminating consideration of the relationship between the medical profession and alternative therapies, and will prove compelling reading for all trainee and practising medical professionals.
