In 1991 The Oxford Group founded a professional group of homeopathic teachers (HPTG) to develop a three year modular course that would combine creative teaching with human values, to inspire and awaken students to the potential for profound and lasting changes that homeopathy can initiate.

Our aim is to give you more than just a qualification. It is to take you to an understanding beyond mere remedy prescribing, to lead you to an ever-deepening appreciation of the process of healing.

6 Principles underpinning the HPTG approach:

• True healing requires an understanding of the creative challenge that illness brings

• Changes of outer physical state are mirrored by changes of the inner subtle state and vice versa

• The healing process requires the healer to work on their own self-development

• The journey of learning is as important as reaching the goal

• HPTG recognise the importance for each individual to build their own 'evidence base' using developments in homeopathic research and their own personal and peer experience

• All the above applies to humans and animals
